Custom Packaging Options – U.S. packaging & Wrapping LLC

Sometimes regular stock items just won’t do for the product you are packaging, and you need something customized to meet your needs.

U.S. Packaging & Wrapping offers a wide array of custom products. Standard material custom orders are custom lengths, thicknesses, core sizes, and colors. Anything from stretch film and pallet covers to poly bags and tubing. Some materials can also be customized by the introduction of additives, such as making film UV-resistant or higher cling rates.

Materials can also be custom printed with company logos and other information. For stretch film in hand and machine options, clear, white, or black film can be printed with up to four colors. Poly bags and tubing, along with vacuum bags, can also be printed on. A one-time plate fee is required for custom printing. Prices are based on the size and intricacy of the print.

How to Request Custom Packaging

The process for requesting custom packaging is easy.

1. Begin by requesting a formal quote either on our website or by calling 800-441-5090 to speak directly to a salesperson.
2. We will contact you to confirm that all specs and details are correct.
3. A formal quote will be sent detailing minimums, lead times, and pricing.
4. Once agreed upon, a deposit is required to proceed with production.
5. Once in production, an estimated completion date will be provided via email.
6. Upon completion, the order will be shipped, invoiced, and tracking will be provided.

The salesperson may want to know details of the product you are trying to package and your customization needs. After you decide what you need, a 50% deposit is required before we can process the order. Each custom product has a minimum purchase requirement.

Stretch Film

• Hand Stretch Film Rolls: Customization options include multiple lengths, core sizes, colors, and thickness.
• Machine Stretch Film Rolls: These can be customized to widths up to 80 inches and a variety of lengths, thicknesses, and colors.
• Custom Bundling Stretch Film: We offer custom film rolls in 1-5 inch widths with multiple thicknesses, core sizes, colors, and lengths.
• Printed Stretch Film: Perhaps one of our most popular customized products, your logo or name can be printed on the stretch film with up to a four-color print on rolls from 5 to 20 inches wide. Only the clear, black, and white film can be printed on. A logo proof is required to get a quote.

Typical lead times for customized stretch film are 14-21 days, and a minimum of 1 to 2 pallets must be ordered. Pallet quantities vary by film.

A logo proof must be submitted, and the customer must sign off on the digital proof. A 50% deposit and a minimum order of 1-2 pallets are required for all custom-printed products.

Pallet Covers

• Pallet Covers are available in custom rolls up to 150 inches wide and in thicknesses up to 8 mils. Lengths are available up to 108 inches long. Typical lead times are 15-30 days. Pallet covers can also be printed upon request. Artwork is required, and a one-time plate fee will be charged.

Poly Sheeting

• Poly Sheeting is available up to 20 feet wide and thicknesses up to 6 mills. Footage per roll depends on the overall weight. Wider, thicker rolls will have less footage per roll. Typical lead times are 7-14 days.

Poly Bags & Tubing

• Poly Bags: Custom poly bags are available up to 56 inches wide and in thicknesses up to 8 mils. We can also produce poly bags on rolls. Minimums vary by bag size and case quantity. Typical lead times are 7-14 days.
• Poly Tubing: Custom Poly tubing rolls are available in both lay flat and gusseted rolls. Lay-flat rolls can be made up to 98 inches wide, and gusseted rolls up to 150 inches wide, with thicknesses up to 8 mils. Custom roll lengths can be made upon the customer’s request. Minimums vary depending on roll size. Typical lead times are 7-14 days.

Vacuum Bags & Tubing

• Vacuum Bags: Some products require custom-fit bag sizes. Custom fit vacuum bags look better when presented to customers. We offer everything from different sizes to foil lamination, opaque vacuum bags, and tubing. Bags as wide as 48 inches can be made up to a 5 ft. length. Lead times are generally 2-3 weeks for custom bag orders. Minimums are between 10,000 and 20,000 bags, depending on the sizing.
• Vacuum Tubing: Vacuum tubing comes with two sealed sides of the roll. We can make custom tubing sizes up to 48 inches wide upon request. Clear and opaque vacuum tubing is also available. Minimums can vary. Standard lead times are between 3-5 weeks for custom orders.
